CHOICES & CONSEQUENCES GAME
I hope you're well stocked up on color ink for your printer!
I'm sure you can tell which game this is modeled after, but for our purposes, we will call it "Choice & Consequences" You could use this for sharing time, singing time (add a song name to each square) or for family home evening. Most of the illustrations are based on following the teachings of Jesus Christ. I've noticed that sharing time for the first week in May 2013 has to do with following the prophets, so this might be a good match for that.
The printed out project measures 30"x30". I wanted it to be big enough for all the kids to see when it's posted in front of the room. It comes in 12 different blocks that you can print out on regular 8.5x11 paper. I would suggest taping it together on the back side, or mounting it on cardboard then laminating it. There are also 4 game pieces. Red, blue, green and yellow. Two girls, two boys. You can use them by color teams, or by boys and girls. You will also need dice to play this game.
Please enjoy it, and let me know how it works out for you!
This is so great, thank you!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much! I'm excited to use this for singing time!
ReplyDeleteThis looks fun...if I can get my printer working right! Are there instructions included on how to play?
ReplyDeleteIt is played just like chutes & ladders. You can make a spinner, or roll dice to advance on the game board. If you land at the bottom of a ladder (good choice) you get to climb the ladder.(Good consequence) If you land at the top of a slide (bad choice) you slide down the slide (bad consequence) The object of the game is to be the first one to the finish. In hind sight, I think I should have put the temple picture as the end square....but, it still works. :)
ReplyDeleteI was wondering of you have all if the pieces put together in a jpeg so that I can print the whole game on poster board at Costco?
ReplyDeleteThis would be perfect for sharing time on Sunday! Thank you for sharing your abundant talents with us! You are amazing!
ReplyDeleteDid you ever redo the last picture to show a temple? That would go great with this year's theme.
Thanks again!
Susan, I LOVE LOVE LOVE your shutes and ladders game for choices. How hard would it be to change it up and gear it towards YW? Girls camp this year they are working on a theme of helping the YW to recognize their beauty and teach them more about refinement. . .a theme around Elder Christofferson's talk (Nov 2013 Ensign) "Moral Force of Women" A simple game might lighten the tone at some point and teach a lesson with fun? What do you think?
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for all your hard work that you do! I really appreciate it!
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing your time and talents! My friend just printed this up and is sweet enough to let me borrow it. Truly, thank you for blessing our little primary with your generosity.

Thank you! My kids love this game and I love the conversations it starts.
ReplyDeleteWhen anger rises, think of the consequences. See the link below for more info.

This is amazing! Thanks for sharing, you are so talented. I was wondering if you could post the game board as one big file? I wanted to print it at Costco so save my ink. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteDo you have this for just a 8 1/2 x 11? This is super cute.
ReplyDeleteI'd be interested if you do happen to have the whole game together as well. We have been teaching my 4 year old about consequences and this would make a great family home evening.
ReplyDeleteThank you very much. I so enjoy your illustrations.
ReplyDeleteI would also like this in an 8 1/2 x 11 version. The Primary theme is Choose the Right again and I'd like to print out a gameboard for each of my children. They can quietly roll a dice and move their figure through the "stories" while we watch conference together.
ReplyDeleteThis is darling and will be a perfect addition for my primary lesson! Thank you for all of your effort putting this together!
ReplyDeleteThis game is amazing. Thank you so much for sharing it. I personally like that it is printed on separate pieces of paper. It makes it easier to store.
ReplyDeleteThank you this is awesome
ReplyDeleteLove this so much!!! Thank you for sharing!!
ReplyDeleteJust printed this out and had it laminated to use during sharing time. Thank you for sharing your amazing talents!
ReplyDeleteDo you happen to have this cute game saved in pdf form?
ReplyDeleteThis is a beautiful game. The artwork is so detailed. Thank you!!!
ReplyDeleteThis is so awesome. Fabulous artwork! I'm having a problem with the graphics within the downloaded files, however. There are gaps between some of the pictures. (Example: the mom on space "64" -- Her hair is cut off in file "c&c6.jpg" so it should show above in file "c&c2.jpg" but it doesn't, it's just missing.) Has no one else had this problem?
ReplyDeleteI’m impressed, I must say. Actually rarely do I encounter a blog that’s both educative and entertaining, and let me tell you, you've gotten hit the nail on the head. Your thought is excellent; the issue is one thing that not enough individuals are speaking intelligently about. I'm very happy that I stumbled across this in my seek for one thing referring to this. online casino slots
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for sharing your talent. I greatly appreciate it!
ReplyDeleteHi. I would love to get this game!! The link says that it is no longer available. Could you email it to me? I would also love to print it 20x30 at Costco. Any chance you have that size? Thanks!
