Which temple is "Your" temple?
One of my favorite things about this little blog of mine is all the people I get to 'meet'. From people just down the street to people on the other side of the world. I've been wanting to do something to honor all of you. I've been working on drawing the temples for the places where I've 'met' people. The problem is that I'm a very forgetful person, and I've never kept any kind of list. So - If you would like me to draw "your" temple, please leave a comment. I haven't decided yet whether or not to put these images on my blog or to make them a kit for my Etsy shop. Either way, if you leave your name and email address with your comment I will send you a picture of your temple when I finish drawing it. These are the only two I've done so far. :)
I love your blog. Thank you so much for sharing your talent with all of us. I would love either the Alberta temple (Cardston or the Houston temple. My husband and I grew up in Cardston and were married in that temple, but now live in Houston. Each temple is beautiful!

Hmm... I received my endowment in the Jordan River Temple and I was married in the Boise Temple, but we recently moved to Kaysville from St. George after 11 years and I really miss the SG Temple, although I really do LOVE both the Bountiful and Ogden Temples. My first choice for my wedding would have been Manti (if it weren't so impractical)... but I suppose Boise would have to be "my" temple because it is where I was sealed to my sweetheart.❤️ Thank you for sharing your talents so freely!

I'm in the Manti, Utah district. We moved to the district a year ago and it's like we've come full circle. I had pioneer ancestors that settled in the area and my parents, grandparents, great grandparents, and great-great grandparents were sealed there. Making it an obvious choice when I got married :) however, I never thought I'd live 5 minutes away from it! So now it's really "my" temple!
ReplyDeleteThank you for your amazing work you are so generous with!!!

My temple is the Washington D.C. temple but a close second is the Manhattan, New York temple. Manhattan temple doesn't photograph very easily because of its surroundings so your talent would bring it to life in illustration!
ReplyDeleteMine is the Logan Utah temple. That's where I got sealed. I was asked by some non LDS friends how did I do to get married in such a castle! My answer: it was free, I know the owner. Since then it's been a started conversation with those that don't know what temples are!
