FIRST NEPHI. (New set)
I'm happy to announce that I've got another new kit in my shop. It's called "First Nephi" because it has most of the stories we read about in First Nephi. The only thing that I feel is missing is Ishmael's family. But I can only upload so much onto Etsy at a time and the files were big enough that I hit the max with what is here. I'll have to draw Ishmael's family separately and make them a set of their own.
I feel bad that this set is too late to use with the current Come Follow Me curriculum, but I think it will still be useful. One of my favorite things about it is the paper doll style clothes of Laban's that you can put on Nephi. I hope you'll like that too.
I'm still plugging along on the "What If" book 3 illustrations. I just have 2 double page spreads left, and I'll be so excited for you to see the finished product. They really are cute and creative stories.
Of course I'll be picking 3 names to give a free set of First Nephi to. Leave your name and email address in the comments to enter to win. I'll draw 3 random names on Wednesday February 26. Last time I asked you to comment on whether I should do more scripture characters or flip chart stuff and the results definitely came back for scripture characters. So, this time, I'd like to ask which scripture characters you would most like to see in the future!
Thanks for all your support!
L*O*V*E!!! I'm heading straight to your ETSY shop now!
ReplyDeleteI love your artwork and my granddaughter loves to look at the characters as we read. I'm a visual learner, so I love the illustrations and how it makes the Book of Mormon stories come to life. Linda Hansen veteres@hotmail.com
ReplyDeleteI love this pack of Book of Mormon characters! Since the next big stories will probably include Mosiah, King Benjamin, Noah, Alma... I say any of these would be a great next packet. Thanks for sharing your talent Susan!

ReplyDeleteI just love your style and artwork. I am not in primary anymore or have children or grandchildren I see much. But I often still talk myself into getting your sets just because I like them so much!
As always, this is amazing! I'd love to see Alma and the sons of Mosiah, but any characters would be so enjoyed! -Ashley Clawson ashleyclawson01@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteI love your characters. I would like to see Alma.
ReplyDeleteI'm always amazed at your drawings and how perfect they are. You are my "go-to" artist before any others. Thank you for sharing your talent with all of us!
ReplyDeleteYay! You are the best!! I’d appreciate any and all people you create from the Book of Mormon! I would love people from the big events that are often focused on in primary. Maybe going off the verses of Book of Mormon Stories would be helpful? Could be both a flip chart and scripture characters! As always, thank you so much for this opportunity and for sharing your beautiful work with us!

I know I'm late on this post, but I wanted to say "YES! YES!" Please do more scripture characters. I am currently using the ones you have on etsy in my primary. We are discussing the characters as we learn them in the Book of Mormon. We are coming up to Enos, which I would LOVE to have one of him. I also would love to see King Benjamin on the tower, the Brother of Jared, and Alma. I love your work! I have found it to meet the needs of our primary and it has been a GREAT tool in helping teach the gospel to these little ones. Thank you so much!
