job chart.

I am a mother. And like most mothers, I am trying to teach my children how to work and how to take care of themselves. (which is also a polite way of saying that I'm tired of cleaning up after them!) So, I've made these cards to go with a job board I plan to order off of etsy.  You can double click the image for a larger view.

Just wondered are these all the chores that you've made or are there more in the set?

Thanks :)

Just found this on Pinterest. Very Cute! It would also work great with myjobchart.com (which we used for a while, you can upload images to create the jobchart online) ... I admit, we've slacked on the jobs lately.

Great tips everybody. Thanks! I even have a giant colorful sign on my schoolroom that claims 'If not Pine Tree State, who? If not currently, when?'. I refer the kids to the current whenever there's a large number to scrub up, or employment to be done.job chart It's nice to listen to them say it to themselves typically, as they devour a born pencil or one thing (that wasn't even theirs...wow!). I additionally love the method you visit your students as 'friends'. may strive it....
Thanks!!

Dear Susan Fitch, thank you for sharing your talent with us. I will also pass along your site to a friend whom I think will be encouraged. I am embarking on the journey of being at home with my four children, and this will come in handy as we work on monthly "skills". Thank you again. (PS. I am also a children's songwriter and have a deep appreciation of all things "children-inspired" and "children-enabling". Sincerely,

My son was just diagnosed with ADHD and I was told to make a great chore chart/reward system. This is perfect. I am having a hard time opening this. Are you able to send me the whole file or a link for dropbox? Thank you for sharing your talents.

P.S. I have a bunch of your church items and my family loves them.

These are exactly what I have been looking for to help my kids remember to do their jobs! Thanks so much for sharing this! I do have a question tho, I am technologically challenged I think, but I can see the individual cards in windows picture viewer, but it won't let me copy or print or anything but set it as my desktop background. Did I do something wrong? Or could you point me in a direction that might let me use these wonderful pictures? I'm so excited about them!

Hi Elizabeth,
I'm glad you like my artwork. I hope you'll be able to use it. Occasionally others have had the same problem you're describing. They have been able to fix it by opening a Word document and using the Insert command to place the images. I hope that helps! Good Luck.

Amazing!! Thank you so much. I hope this will help our day go a little better.

Is there a chance you could blow these up and put like 4-6 per page? I was wanting to print something like this out for my kiddos, laminate them and then put on a ring so they know what my expectations are for them each morning etc. Thanks so much! Would love for you to email if that is something that I can easil do ;)

Susan said...

Hi Heather. I'm sorry that I do not personally have time to revise these images for you, but you are welcome to do it yourself. If you don't have photo editing software, you can open a Word document, use insert to place the image, then drag the boxes around the edges to resize the images. Just be sure to hold down the shift key while you resize in order to keep the proportions. Sorry I can't be of more help. Best Wishes,
Susan

Thank you! These pictures are so cute. I already use several of these images to speed up our bedtime routine. They are so much nicer than the stick figure I would have drawn!!

I see your response to Susan above... is that how I would print them smaller than a full page? Thank you in advance for your time!!!

Susan said...

Hyre Living - yes, that's how you would make the images smaller too. I'm sorry you're having a hard time using them. Let me know if you need anything else.
