We are learning "Follow the Prophet" in March and I'd LOVE to have a great picture for each prophet the song talks about. Maybe even have it so the faces can be cut out and the kids can put their face so they can be the prophet.

A lot of choristers are teaching the song "Faith" for May (we can choose our own song that month). I would love to have some sort of flower that could grow and have each of the words on parts of the flower. I don't know if that makes much sense.

August, another "your choice" song I'm teaching is "Tell Me the Stories of Jesus." I'd love illustrations of all the things that song talks about.

I've seen choristers want different ideas for "choosing sticks." Just a way to choose kids to come up and participate to keep it fair.

Okay, too many ideas?

Love your work!!

I'd love to see more images of the Savior with children. Thanks!

I would love a memory game for this year's song.

I think pictures of different singing styles like slow = turtle, and then something for fast, loud, quiet, etc.

Different pointers for putting on the end of a stick when using flip charts.

Big ears, eyes,to encourage singing loud and eyes on me.

I would love some sort of game that can be re-used for different things. I have been meaning to make one myself, but haven't gotten around to it!

I'm teaching "I'll Walk With You" and of course, "Come Follow Me"...maybe something with Jesus reaching out to children? Or a footprints game?

Also maybe something new for birthdays...something we can attach to a stick that they can "wear" while we sing to them?

We are learning Build an Ark in The Friend, and Tell Me The Stories of Jesus. Any images for those songs would be wonderful!
I would also love a new birthday idea.

Thanks for making such amazing work!

I think it'd be awesome to have some sort of "substitute kit." Like something that you can have all ready to go...you just hand it to the sub and you're done. And then it can be used over & over. What that might be, I don't know! ;) But I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE your work! Your images are my FAVORITE!

I'm thinking about teaching "The Miracle" by S. Edwards and I would like flip chart pictures for it.Thanks.

I, like Camille, would also love a visual aid type thing for "Follow the Prophet". There are so many words for the children to learn in the verses, a visual with the prophets to help them remember them would be great!

Thank you for taking the time to ask!

I would love visuals for follow the prophet as well. Also some visuals for faith. Maybe flowers in different stages of growth

I'm teaching This is My Beloved Son this year. I would love visuals for that!

This might be lame but I would love a more simple yet creative "How to sing cards". But using the musical words "Forte" etc. but also having a few fun ones etc. "Opera etc." Kind of an all inclusive pack.

Cindy Spratling said...

It would be helpful to have general go-to pieces in my bag of tricks, like signs that say how to sing (forte, staccato, etc) and another set that has faces with the mouth shaped like "Hum" "Ooo" "Awww" with those words included on the sign. Also "girls only" "boys only" "teachers only", etc. Your work is amazing! Thank you for last year's "The Family is of God" flip chart. Still my favorite!

I too would love visual aides for "Follow the Prophet"!

Thank you for sharing your talents!

I would love the different ways to sing the song. A traffic light for singing faster, slower, and stop. I can't hear you sign, eyes on me. Puppets to make paper bag puppets. My primary kids love when I pull out puppets to have the puppets sing, but they are so expensive. I would also like black and white options. I feel like I go through so much ink. I am not a great singer so I always print flip charts to hang on the board so the teachers have the words to look at and sing along, and I really don't need color for those. Action cards/ideas for different wiggle songs. Thanks for doing this, you have an amazing talent!!!

Verse 2 of "Holding Hands around the World." would be awesome!

Maybe a patriotic song:
My Country 'tis of Thee (Hymn 339)

I am a Stripling Warrior - I found the link to this song on ocdprimarychorister.blogspot.com,
her April 25, 2014 post.

I agree with Follow the Prophet, I'll Walk with you & Come follow me.

I LOVE your work! I'm excited to read your announcement.

I agree with the how-to-sing graphics: girls only, boys only, teachers only, turtle-slow, cheetah-fast, bee-buzz, stop sign, lion-forte (with the word forte there to teach them some theory), mouse-piano (same thing with the word piano and/or the calligraphied p to represent it), something for staccato (note with staccato mark) and legato (slur marks), etc.

Follow the Prophet visuals could be really fun with clues for the words to each of their verses--like Noah on the ark, Adam with Eve by a beautiful fruit tree, Moses in the desert with 10 commandments, Samuel in a tabernacle, Daniel petting a lion, etc.

I agree that I would love a good set to go with Follow the Prophet one. I am sure for the younger ones especially it will be hard to keep them straight and the pictures will really help.

Follow the Prophet-illustrations to go with each prophet and their story/verse. I'm afraid of teaching all 9 verses.

Crescendo crocodile

Matching game for 2015 songs

Illustrations that represent Faith. We are singing I Have Faith by Janice Kapp Perry.

Thank you for sharing your wonderful talents with us.

I love your work and so appreciate everything you share with us.

I would love to see something for Children All Over the World. I recently searched for some cute, usable pictures for this song and came up empty handed.

Also, maybe some cute handouts to go along with some of the wiggle songs that the Nursery kids sing.

I agree with Mary with the how-to-sing: girls only, boys only, teachers only, turtle-slow, cheetah-fast, bee-buzz, stop sign, lion-forte (with the word forte there to teach them some theory), mouse-piano (same thing with the word piano and/or the calligraphied p to represent it), something for staccato (note with staccato mark) and legato (slur marks), etc.

I would also love some images to be able to hold signs as the children are entering the primary room that say, 'hum' 'oooh' ah' etc.

And also like Mary said, "Follow the Prophet visuals could be really fun with clues for the words to each of their verses--like Noah on the ark, Adam with Eve by a beautiful fruit tree, Moses in the desert with 10 commandments, Samuel in a tabernacle, Daniel petting a lion, etc."

Thank you for sharing your talents with all of us who aren't as fortunate. I tend to struggle with stick figures... LOL!

How generous and thoughtful of you to ask for suggestions! :D Thank you SO much for sharing your talents! I agree with both "I'll Walk with You" and "Tell Me the Stories of Jesus." Additionally, I would personally love if you could do "Beautiful Savior" and "We are Different." What I always look for, and often have a hard time finding, are visual aids for Primary that portray diverse children. We have Native American, black, Latino, Chinese, Southeast Asian, Hawaiian, and biracial/multiracial members in our ward, and it is ALWAYS nice to have pictures that reflect the rich and beautiful diversity found in the Church.

Hopefully I'm not being too repetitive of other comments, or even things you already have published...
I'd love some sing/hum, sing/ooo, sing/buzz, staccato/legato cards. Visuals to go with Come Follow Me, Follow the Prophet, and really any of the songs for this year. ;)
And simple game packets that can be used for subs, when the week has been crazy, or just completely out of ideas- I know that's requiring you do also do the game part instead of just illustrations, but often games just need illustrations to make them a hit.
Thanks!
Dezi

I would love some good ideas for follow the prophet as others have mentioned. How do we make that exciting for the kids?
I'm also thinking about doing "The Miracle" by Edwards so a visual for that would be helpful.
Also I was wondering instead of flip charts if you could make images that I could put on a poster board. So much easier than hanging up ten papers every week you know what I'm saying? Just some ideas. Thanks for your work!

I agree with Micah, I would enjoy using musical terms for singing - andante, forte, etc., teaching the children the correct term.

I love your designs! I would like a picture for adults to sing. You have boys and girls, I would like one for adults.

Also, any flip charts for the years songs would be amazing!

One of the choice songs we are learning this year is Tell Me the Stories of Jesus. I would love some artwork depicting a book with a picture of Christ in it, Christ talking to children, and Christ walking near the sea.

A sub kit would be awesome to have for last minute subs, with a few simple games that can be executed easily. One that's easy to assemble and keep in the closet for emergencies.

A kit for each holiday would be nice too, with artwork or flip charts for a few of the popular mothers/father's/easter/christmas holiday songs.

I would also love a packet for the article of faith songs!

I love the idea of having packets available for purchase, I spend so much time browsing the internet, this would help cut down on that. I personally feel like there are a lot of bloggers who make flip charts for that years specific songs, I personally find more of a need for kits that can be used for multiple songs, in any year.

A sing or dare kit would also be great, to have more of a variety of dares without searching the internet looking for new dares.

A baptism packet, with some of the good baptism songs.

Thanks for sharing your talents!

I would love it if you could draw each of the prophets for Follow the Prophet. It would also be awesome to draw an iconic scene from what we sing about each prophet. For example: Draw a picture of Jonah in the whale, or Daniel in the Lion's Den, Abraham with Isaac on the Altar, the City of Enoch being translated up to heaven, etc. One for each prophet would be awesome!! It know it is a hefty job, but those images could all be used for many other things as well. I have several ideas for them.
You are amazing as always and keep up the beautiful work!
Thank you so much for sharing your work!!

I would love to have some sets to use for games like a barn and barnyard animals with a farmer. Maybe a zoo with animals and a zookeeper. My primary kids love to see animals and get very excited when I use them. I am also happy to buy your art. It is wonderful!

I'd love a kit about musical terms i.e. tempo, rhythm, harmony with definitions and maybe pictures with examples. Like adagio: slow could be a turtle or something. I'd really love the kids to learn things about musicality as well as the songs for the program! Thanks!

I would love something to go with the Feliz Cumpleanos Song! Pictures of the country and/or the kids from that country to go with each word.

I'm a little behind on seeing this post! Thank you so much for sharing your talent. I use your art all the time and I LOVE it. Bless you for sharing with us all.

I think it would be fun to have art for the Birthday song Feliz Cumpleanos with an image of a child dressed in some kind of cultural outfit. If that makes sense. Or something similar for the Children all over the world song. :) Or their flags for their countries.

Thank you for sharing your talents!

Sorry another thing I thought of was Noahs Ark. In nursery sometimes we sing Old Macdonald but instead we say, "The prophet noah built an ark... ei, ei, o," It would be fun to have art of a variety of animals to print out to have visuals for them. :) Just another idea!

I love your style! Thank you for contributing to world with your lovely art!
I am teaching our primary Beautiful Savior CS 62.
I love the opportunity to teach them a beautiful traditional choral piece along with all the wonderful Children's Hymns. I bet your illustration for Beautiful Savior would be wonderful!

we are learning "IF I Listen with my Heart" Stand for the Right" "Praise to the man" and "I love to see the temple". Any visual aids for these songs would be awesome!!
Also a snowman would be cute that they build and each part picks an action or phrase of the song. Other ideas: shamrocks for March.

OH boy for 2016! Plan of Salvation is what come to mind. Kind boring. But having one done in your style of art would be awesome. Treasure chest, that holds the treasures of the scriptures :?

Cara said...

Since the theme for the year is all about scriptures I would like something that could be used over and over. So I am teaching "The Golden Plates" and "Scripture Power" (including the "extra verses which I would LOVE to have visuals for) and "Search Ponder and Pray/Holy Scriptures" specific to the program. But I am also teaching the songs that are about the books in the Book of Mormon and the Old/New Testament and there are not very many good pictures of each of those books. So that is what I would wish for the most. For instance, why are there not any pictures of Jarom and Omni? They have their own books and so they must be important but there aren't any pictures of them! Anyway, something along those lines would be awesome. I'm not asking for too much right? :)
