I know that a lot of primaries are focusing on scripture stories and scripture characters this year. I am working on a set of clip art featuring women in the scriptures right now. (I'll probably continue with more scripture characters as well) My question for those of you who might be using this is whether or not I should include background scenery for these characters like I did with the "Follow the Prophet" sets. What do you think?

I don't really need the backgrounds but really love them! I LOVE your clipart! Thank you for being so generous! I wondered if you will be making a binder cover for this years primary theme? It's on the front of my binder (I'm chorister) and I love it so very much! I would love to have one for this years theme!
I really like the backgrounds...I love how they help tell the character's story.

I think that anything you do is wonderful and so generous. Personally, if you are willing, I think the backgrounds are fabulous! I think they really do add an extra special touch.
I'm so excited you're doing a set with women in the Scriptures!!!! I say yes on backgrounds!!!!!
I like the backgrounds, but I'd be happy without them, too. You are so kind to do this--we love having your drawings/artwork in our Primary!
I'm so excited you are adding some scripture women. Yay!! I'm hoping to add some of these scripture heros and heroines to my bulletin board I'm putting together this week. Thank you so much!
I agree with the other sisters. Your work is so wonderful and I appreciate how sweet and wonderful you are for sharing your talent with us. The background does help with the stories I think, but not having your talent I can only imagine the amount of time it must take. Your love shines through your work. Thank you!
Thank you everyone! Backgrounds it is! And Steph - I am hoping to get around to doing a binder cover again this year. I've started several different ideas, but they just haven't quite come together. I'm still working on it. I'm glad to hear you like them.
Yes! Love them! Not only did I use them for singing time, but I also used them to make a quiet book for my toddler. She has to match the prophet to the background.
I really enjoyed the backgrounds as well! It makes them very versatile.
This is wonderful! Thank you for doing this! I think the backgrounds are amazing...but everything you do is great and is so generous! Thank you for sharing your talent with us =).
I love the backgrounds as well. Can use these in so many ways.
CAN YOU PLEASE CORRECT THE SPANISH VERSION
IT'S ESCRITURAS NOT ESCRIPTORES
THANK YOU!
THEY'RE BEAUTIFUL!
I am sorry about this but the spelling in the Spanish version is wrong. It should say: YO SÉ, QUE LAS ESCRITURAS SON VERDADERAS.
THANKS,
Marcela
I am so excited you are doing women! We have been hoping to find some to use. Thank you!!
I would love if you would do a picture of the courageous Abigail in the Old Testament as she stops the Army of David in 1 Samuel:25.
Jennifer Rose - ooooh! thank you for that idea. I've been struggling with who to draw. I never even thought of Abigail, and I have a daughter named that! :)
It would be great to have them both with and without the backgrounds, it really depends on how they are being used. For me most of the time would be without the backgrounds. Love your work
I think great with background!
Thank You for posting the Spanish version, however, it should read:
...escrituras son verdaderas
thanks again!
