Singing Time Missionary Game

This is one of the most fun projects I've done!  It's a game I made for our primary singing time.  The kids have to get this Elder ready to go on his mission by finding his 'stuff' around the room and packing it in his suitcase for him.  Each item has a song on the back.  Some songs fit with the items better than others.  "Choose the Right" is on the back of the CTR ring which works pretty well, but I put "Popcorn Popping" on the back of his toothpaste and toothbrush because all I could think of was popcorn kernels getting stuck in my teeth!  Anyway, I have made a digital pattern to build our little Elder out of.  Each of his individual parts can be printed out on a regular 8.5 x 11 paper.  I think putting him together is pretty self explanatory.  This isn't rocket science after all.  I also have about 5 pages of 'stuff' you can print out.  I suggest you either have a lot of ink in your printer, or take it to a copy shop and let them use their ink for about .79 cents a page.  You can put what ever songs you want on the back of yours, but here is what I did.

"Do As I'm Doing" action cards

Our primary has been fixated on spinning every time they sing "Do As I'm Doing"  Our poor chorister is so dizzy, I think she's ready to pull her hair out.  So, I took it upon myself to make these little cards with other options on them.  I think I may laminate them and attach a craft stick to the back so the kids can pick one and hold it up while singing if they want.....then again, they probably can't hold them up if they are doing the actions can they?

This illustration is free for the asking, but you must know that it is somewhat pixelated.  I cannot find my original drawing and only have a small copy that I used as a handout in church years ago.  Perhaps someday I will redo it and get a better scan, but for now it is what it is.
