If you follow this blog regularly, you know that I am always behind schedule.  I wanted to have a whole set of things done for the 2016 primary theme back in September or October.  Here it is December and I'm just now posting some bookmarks.  I HOPE there will be more coming.  Life just seems to get more and more hectic for me.  Anyway - These are printable and ready to go.  There is extra space up top for you to punch a hole and put ribbon through or write something.  If you don't want to do either of those things, just trim it off.  There is also a spanish version that my sweetheart translated for me. Enjoy!

"I know my Savior Lives" Book Marks

Let me explain the pictures here.  I was thinking - "I know my Savior Lives" is about having and gaining a testimony.  So I drew pictures of ways kids can gain a testimony. Through reading the scriptures, the words of living prophets, faith and prayer.  I'm sure there are other ways, but these are the main ideas that came to me.  I also tried to leave space at the top to punch a hole and put a ribbon or some string through.

It came to my attention that some of you could use the commandment tablets and John the Baptist for making singing time flip charts for the primary baptism song on page 100 of the Children's song book.  I have to admit that this illustration of the Savior and John the Baptist is not my favorite.  I've been wanting to re-do it.  But since you may be able to get some use out of it (whether I like it or not)  I'm posting it for you.  Enjoy! You can also click on the ideas & inspiration tab up top to see how these were used in a primary flip chart.

I thought I had figured out the issue with the backgrounds showing up gray in blogger.  Apparently I didn't.

Ressurection Puppets

I wish I could say that I came up with this idea on my own.  But alas, I did not.  Some time ago I was contacted by a mother wanting to use my images to make resurrection puppets. What are resurrection puppets?  They are used to teach the plan of salvation.  Remember the old object lesson of the hand in the glove to show the spirit in the body?  Well, these work the same way.  The white 'spirit' puppets fit inside the colored 'body' puppets.  Click here to see her blog post with the finished product.  I'm sure you'll get a much better understanding from it than from my description.  I think they turned out really cute.  At the time of her request, I didn't have actual drawings for her.  So she used my baptism kids and colored them herself.  Since then, I have made a proper set with both white clothing and colored.  Enjoy! (hint hint: these make a great gift to send in a missionary care package!)
