New Testament, new drawings.

I have a new set in my shop. It's a small collection of New Testament characters.  Many of them can be found in various other sets, but a few of them are new and unique to this set.  That doesn't mean they won't show up in future sets though.  I'm trying to do more New Testament for this year's Come Follow Me curriculum.  I'm not doing a give away for this set, but I am running a promo in my shop.  If you use the promo code BUNDLE on any three sets you can get 20% off.  Let me know if you're really sad that there isn't a giveaway drawing.

Winter can be hard for me. I tend to lose my mojo. I've mentioned before that I have chronic depression. Having less light in the winter gets to me.  I'm doing fine right now, but I worry that having moved to a colder darker climate, that this year might be harder than usual. I usually hit a big slump more towards February and March.  So, I'm working hard now on a lot of projects in order to keep my serotonin levels up. I often use drawing as a tool for that.  I got a 'therapy lamp' for Christmas and I hope that will help.  I'm also trying to eat healthy, get good sleep and exercise.  Along with medication, all those things help to keep me functional.

What about you? Does the winter get you down? Or are you like me and have to try to balance mental illness in your life every day?  I've noticed that the amount of sugar I eat has a lot to do with how I feel. What have you found that works (or doesn't) for you?

What ever you deal with in your world, I hope you had a Merry Christmas and that you'll have your best New Year yet.

Thank you for the new set. I have a button on my homepage for your blog so I can easily check for a new post. It's the fun thing I look forward to every couple of days--to see if you have anything new. =)

Yes, I have had a hard time with depression/anxiety most of my life. Part of it is genetics and part of it is the environment I grew up in. Trying to eat healthy, sleep, and generally do good things is how I cope--along with medication. When it's warmer I like to have a daily walk, but I've been missing that lately. It's just too cold to take my 1 year old out in the stroller. Sometimes depriving myself of treats too much makes me grumpy, so a bit of chocolate or ice cream from time to time is another "treatment" or "therapy" I like to use. I've never used the lamp but I'm curious if it works. One time that was particularly difficult led me to ask for a blessing. I was instructed in the blessing to go outside every day, even if it's just to stand out on the porch and look at the sky. Amazingly, this is very helpful! It reminds me that there's more to life than the four walls I live in and all the messes and tasks on my to-do list. I'm thankful for the beauty of nature and fresh air and seeing other people. Those all help me feel happier.

I escape with Movies. I don't mind the winters cause I get better sleep cause it's dark and I go to bed earlier. I live in Vegas though so our winters are nothing compared to others.

Drawing is one of the most difficult skills to learn and most students gave up in the starting months as they faced numerous issues managing their studies with it. Some students who are eager to learn prefer using assignment writing services in Dubai to let the professionals handle the workload so the students can freely focus on learning.
